Navigating Our Application Process
Before you apply
1. Learn More About Us
We host information sessions at both New York University and the University of Pennsylvania to provide an opportunity for us to connect with you in person and share more about what it's like to be a part of Violet Quaker. Our board will give a brief presentation that provides an overview of Violet Quaker and further information on our recruiting process. Additionally, there will be a Q&A session and mixer following the presentation for you to meet more of our team personally.
2. Connect With Us
We believe that coffee chats are a powerful way to connect with you. Many of our current members first experience with Violet Quaker was through a coffee chat with one of our partners, board members, or even analysts. As such we encourage you to reach out to our members and set up a time for a casual coffee chat either on campus or online. Check out our executive board and partner bios, maybe one of our team members may even share the same interests as you.

AFTER YOU APPLY
5. Interview Round
If your application is selected, our team will reach out to set up an interview with you on campus at either Penn or NYU. All of our interviews are approximately 30 minutes, in-person, and will be with 1 or 2 members of our team who will take turns asking you a mix of behavioral and technical questions. Additionally, there will be time at the end for you to ask our team any questions you may have about Violet Quaker.
6. Case Study Round
If you are selected to move forward after the interview round, you'll be invited to complete a take-home case study. The case study varies from year-to-year but is an opportunity for you to showcase your analytical skills and for us to understand how you evaluate companies and potential investments. We understand that this may be your first time attempting a case study and our team will include multiple resources including a sample case study response to assist you in crafting your own response. There is no "correct" answer, rather we evaluate submissions on their quality, analysis, and demonstrated effort.
